The first official teaser for the next Season 4 in Fortnite is nowhere. The teaser shows some Marvel elements. Is it going to be a huge collaboration that will dominate an entire season?
On Friday, August 21, 2020, Epic posted the first official teaser for the new Season 4, which will start in a week.
On the animated picture, you can see the Marvel logo and the Fortnite lettering, which is filled with a cartoon image in the Marvel style.
In addition, the account wrote the emojis Hammer, Lightning, and Rainbow – clear references to Thor, the god of thunder. He is known to swing the hammer Mjölnir, is master of lightning and thunder, and travels over the rainbow bridge Bifröst. Incidentally, this was already hinted at in the Captain America trailer.
Thor is no stranger to Fortnite: On the one hand, you could use his ax Stormbreaker as well as some other Avengers weapons in the big endgame event.
Just a Secret Skin or a Complete Marvel Season?
The teaser could mean that Marvel or DC characters appear in Fortnite is nothing new. After all, the secret skin Aquaman is right now in Season 3, which you can unlock.
But even if these characters were indicated in the season teaser, it seems to be a little different this time, because the Marvel logo is large and clearly visible in the teaser. This has never happened before.
Fortnite Marvel Collaboration
So if a full Marvel collaboration takes place, the whole Battle Pass could consist of different Marvel characters. That would also be the first time that a Battle Pass does not consist of original Fortnite skins.
But keep in mind that this is just a teaser and more will follow, which may show completely different hints. We’ll have to wait until the next teaser appears.
