Google’s Gmail email offering appears to be struggling. Users around the world are complaining about service disruptions. Apparently not all users are affected.
The world’s most widespread email service is currently struggling with technical problems. Frustrated users around the world vent their anger on Twitter and other services. Although many users can start email service themselves, it is often not possible to add an attachment to an email.
Problems with Sending Attachments in Gmail
According to the malfunction map on the reporting portal allestören.de, users in Asia and Australia, in particular, seem to be complaining at the moment – but this may also be due to the fact that in Central Europe, for example, the first users are only now trying to send attachments by email. The t-online.de editors could at least understand the problems with sending attachments in email.
Google is already aware of the problem: The subject is listed as a “service disruption” on the app status page. It just says,
We’re investigating reports of a problem with Gmail. We’ll provide more information about this shortly.
